We were staying about an hour from the beach, but we didn’t want to pass up the chance to take baby girl to the beach for the first time. After we went to the art museum in Tampa, we drove out to the coast. It was about a 30 minute drive.
As we drove along, I spotted a little public parking lot just before we got to Clearwater Beach, so we pulled in. There was a tiny path to a public beach.
Baby girl was napping when we arrived. She was still out cold even after getting her out of the car and walking to the beach.
We woke her up and dipped her little feet in the water. She didn’t know what to think. Seemed like she would have rather been napping!
I have to say, her outfit is one of my favorites. Thanks to Sarah for the ADORABLE shorts! I can’t stand how cute they are.
We only stayed a little bit, collected some shells, enjoyed then sun, then we had to get back to the resort for a work function. Traffic was horrendous on the way back, but it was definitely worth it for baby girl’s first trip to the beach!
