Tampa, Florida

On our first day in Tampa, I hit the spa for a massage then we headed into the city for some culture. Hubbs wanted to check out the art museum. We arrived around noon, so we started with drinks and lunch at the Sono cafe. Malbec with a view!

The wine paired nicely with a cheese and meat plate. I also had a sandwich, but I was so hungry that I attacked it before thinking to take a picture.

We were excited to show baby girl her first art museum. The building was beautiful, but I was really surprised with how little art there really was. We literally covered the entire museum in 10 minutes. The first room housed some ancient artifacts, then the next two rooms covered local Tampa sports art pieces. The last room had some more abstract pieces, so that was nice. But I am still in shock by how small it was.

Baby girl had a blast looking at everything though, so it was definitely a fun experience.

After the art museum, we walked around the park outside and along the river. Such a beautiful area and gorgeous weather. We were happy to just soak in the sunshine.
