We are in the middle of travel season, so it was nice to have a weekend at home. Looking forward to being at home next weekend too before hitting the road again!
Snoopy agrees. I caught him walking out of the bedroom like this after we got home from Louisville. Poor guy missed his bed!
We kicked off the weekend by setting up the highchair and letting the baby play with some food. She wasn’t too interested in the food. I’m pretty sure Dad helped stage this photo, but it was adorable.
Saturday morning we had breakfast at Common Grounds with our friends.
Usually, I get a pastry, but I decided to go for the Farmall sandwich, and it hit the spot!
Later in the afternoon, I went to my little cousin’s basketball game. It happened to be at my old high school- talk about a walk down memory lane! It was fun to spend a few hours with family too.
Saturday evening, Hubbs planned a home date for me. 🙂 He made pizza and we watched “Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates” mainly because I love Anna Kendrick and Aubrey Plaza. It was a pretty funny movie. A little inappropriate, but that never stops us. Thankfully, Ellie slept through the whole movie.
Sunday the weather was gorgeous, so Hubbs cleaned off our jogging stroller, and we took Ellie out for her first spin in it. I was hoping she’d take a nice nap, but she was way too excited to scope out the neighborhood and soak up the warm weather!
That was our weekend. Lots of low key fun with family and friends!
